Electrofusion & Butt Fusion
Pipeline Services (UK) and Pipeline Services Civil Engineering (Ltd) provide both PE welding and butt fusion services along with main laying and pipeline recommission. As part of our turn-key operations, we provide both on-site and in-house services for PE welding as well as main laying. By providing cost efficient and effective solutions, our PE welding services can be done using minimal equipment.
We cover all types of PE welding, including butt fusion and electrofusion welding. Butt fusion welding is a process which involves forcing two pieces of PE pipe together through an automated machine. Our processes and careful attention to detail allow us to work safely and efficiently on PE pipe sizes from 63mm up to 900mm. Electrofusion welding can be used to lay new connections or replace damaged ones. We offer electrofusion welding on PE pipe sizes of 20mm up to 630mm.
